We take projects from concept development through calculation and design to the fabrication documents. Our shipbuilding, offshore, structural steel and mechanical engineers work as one team. Experience from one project feeds straight into the next. What began as a spin-off from a shipyard became an engineering consultancy specialising in shipbuilding, offshore engineering, structural steel and mechanical engineering. 2019 ### Part of FERCHAU GmbH Warnow Design has been part of FERCHAU GmbH since 2019. That makes us part of a larger network. We continue to carry out planning, design and calculations at our Rostock office. Today ### Directly by the Warnow Our roots are in shipbuilding. Today we also work on offshore structures, structural steel projects and mechanical designs. We take projects from concept development through calculation and design to the fabrication documents. Our office is directly beside the Warnow. Team ## 35*+* Engineers More than 35 engineers work at Warnow Design. Our shipbuilding, offshore, structural steel and mechanical engineers work as one team. Experience from one project feeds straight into the next. In our engineering team, calculation engineers, designers and specialists work on projects together. The same team handles design and verification. We speak openly about effort, benefit and technical limits. We assess whether an optimisation justifies the effort, and we say so early. 02 ### We say what will not work We speak openly about feasibility, effort and benefit. When the effort required for a change outweighs its benefit, we say so early. 03 ### The price is in the quotation Scope, assumptions and costs are set out clearly. When boundary conditions change, we discuss the implications. 04 ### The outside perspective We work in shipbuilding, offshore wind, structural steel and mechanical engineering. Experience from one project feeds straight into the next. Methods and design principles from offshore engineering can also be applied to shipbuilding or structural steel projects.
