Your tasks

  • You assess how innovative plans can be implemented in practice.
  • You perform FEM calculations for demanding steel structure projects.
  • You assess the safety and efficiency of the steel structures involved.
  • You use 3D-CAD and calculation software including RFEM, RSTAB and ANSYS.
  • You explain technical matters clearly and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.

Your profile

What you should bring

  • You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering with a focus on steel structures, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • You have solid knowledge of structural mechanics and common FEM methods.
  • You are confident using 3D-CAD systems as well as RFEM, RSTAB and ANSYS.
  • You work independently and methodically and keep an overview when dealing with complex issues.
  • You communicate proactively and explain technical matters clearly within an interdisciplinary team.
  • You have very good English and, ideally, good German.

Nice to have

  • You have experience in offshore wind or shipbuilding.
  • You have a background in heavy steel construction and want to move into this field. A career change is possible.
